Library Board
The City of Willamina's Library Board consists of seven (7) volunteer members that meet regularly to serve the needs of the library and its users. The board is responsible establishing the mission and vision for the library, as well as determining the policies that govern the library. Some various projects that have been identified might include:
- Reviewing the library policies
- Commenting on the donations that come to the library
- Commenting on the annual budget for the library
- Commenting on the library facilities or events
Recruitment for upcoming full-term positions:
The Willamina Public Library is looking for 2 interested community members to volunteer their time with the Willamina Library Board. Become a champion and promoter of the library while meeting regularly to ensure the library stays current and relevant through mission, policies, fundraising, and advocacy.
The Library Board positions are 4-year full-terms that being September 2024. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to attend one regular meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Additional meetings, work sessions, and events may be scheduled.
