Volunteer

Are you looking for a ways to help our community? Volunteering is an essential component of building strong, resilient communities and volunteers enable the City to stretch tax dollars while working together to make improvements. Working alongside City Staff and other volunteers promotes relationship building, making new friends, and is good for your mind & body. There are many opportunities to volunteer:

• Parks
  • Help care for our parks & open spaces. Maintain trails, spruce up playgrounds, plant trees and more!
• Community Cleanup
  • Work alongside our Code Enforcement to build a sense of ownership and pride in maintaining a healthy community!
• Library
  • Support the library in a variety of ways, building friendships and new skills!
• Museum
  • Keep our local history alive by helping to preserve the heritage of our area at the local museum!

  • Learn about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may occur. Join the local response team.
